What energy concept is used in Les Vignes?
For these villas, Steiner SA has adopted an innovative approach to optimising their energy quality, while limiting costs. This involves a carefully-considered combination of:
- District heating: our 30 villas will be supplied by Thermoreso, an energy solution that centralises heat production and distributes it to neighbouring homes. The energy produced is largely based on renewable energy sources (biomass, pellets, geothermal energy, etc.). Each villa will have an individual meter, and thanks to online monitoring, each homeowner will be able to check personal consumption and keep costs under control.
- Photovoltaic panels: installed on the villas’ roofs, the energy produced by these panels will supply the villas as well as the common areas of Les Vignes. The excess energy produced will be re-injected into the electrical grid, which will in turn generate income for the condominium.
- The grouping of own consumers: this is an energy community that brings together the various owners – and therefore consumers – to share, manage, and optimise the use of energy resources. The costs of installing, maintaining, and operating photovoltaic panels are shared, and the revenues generated by the resale of the energy produced is pooled. This pooling also maximises the use of renewable energies and promotes energy self-sufficiency.
